The Kiwanis Foundation of Huntington Beach is pleased to announce their sponsorship of Mike Heywood’s newest book, A History of Orange County, Twelve Decades of Extraordinary Change 1889 to 2010.   Heywood’s well received Century of Change, A History of Huntington Beach was published by the Kiwanis Foundation in 2008 to celebrate the City’s 100 year anniversary.  The new work includes a look back at the amazing growth and dynamic change experienced within the County of Orange from its founding in 1889 through 2010. 

Founded in 1961, the Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach has a solid history of supporting worthy causes not only in the City of Huntington Beach, but throughout the County of Orange.  In recent times, the Club has worked hard to make sure that our men and women heroes who have served our Nation in Iraq and Afghanistan receive an appropriate welcome home.
