Huntington Beach Coordinating Council

My Orange County History is an educational activity of the Hall A. Clement Memorial Fund, a California Registered 501c3. 

MyOrangeCountyHistory.org encourages residents of Orange County, California to connect with their county's history and tradition.   Mike Heywood, author of Century of Service, A History of Huntington Beach,  is currently working on a history of Orange County's second supervisorial district.  The 2nd Supervisorial District includes communities along the Gold Coast from Seal Beach south through Newport Beach. Founded in 1889, the County of Orange was the fifth largest county ranked by population in the United States as of the 2000 census.
